、ルイーズ・Cは、私にこう尋ねました。「あなたが求めているのは、苦しみからの解放（お酒をやめること）なの？ それとも自由なの？」何年も前も、そして今日も、私の答えは「自由」です。
苦しみからの解放から、真の自由へと進むためには、日々、自分の意志を、朝、目が覚めたら、まず神様に私の運転席に座っていただくことから一日を始めます。つまり、その運転席を恐れや、後悔、自己憐憫、わがままなどに明け渡さないということです。そうすることで、一日をスムーズに進んでいくことができます。困難な場面にぶつかったら、立ち止まって祈り、神の恵みと意志のもとへと戻っていきます。
変化はあまりにも多く、すべてを挙げることはできません。でも、
プログラム12ステッププログラム、回復のため原理、AAの基本プログラム。
を始めた頃にこう言われました。「あなたが変えなければならないのは、すべてですよ」と。この36年間に起きたのは、まさにそのとおりのことでした。すべてが変わりました。そしてこれからも、
ハイヤー・パワー（HP=ハイヤーパワー）神、または高次の力、自分を超えた大きな力。意志と生き方をゆだねる対象。
の腕の中に身を委ね、今日もその方にハンドルを握っていただくかぎり、私は変化し続けていくでしょう。

Dear ESH'ers:
My name is Susan and I am recovered from a seemingly hopeless state of body, mind and spirit.
Thanks Jeff for your lead and your question to ponder: "Please share about the changes you have experienced as you have become free from the bondage of self."
My dear sponsor, Louise C., asked me if I want to go for relief (putting down the drink) or freedom... Many, many years ago and also today my answer was/is freedom.
To go from relief to freedom is a daily practice of turning my self-will over to God. On awakening...I start my day with God in the driver's seat. That means the seat cannot be occupied by fear, remorse, self-pity, selfishness, etc. and makes for a smooth journey through the day. If I hit a hard spot I pause, pray and proceed back into God's grace and will.
The changes are too many to list..but as I was told in the beginning, "The only thing that you have to change is everything." That is exactly what has happened over the past 36 years - everything has changed and will continue to change as long as I lean back into the arms of my Higher Power and let him take the wheel today.
