Hi, everyone. George, a drunk. Thank you, Kitza, for chairing.
I not only highlighted one paragraph from the Chapter, entitled, "The Family Afterward," I underlined many other paragraphs, as well.
My oldest child, Sheila, who will soon retire as a veterinarian, (Where did the time go?) was extremely upset with me when I parted ways with her mother. I told Sheila that, at age fourteen, she was old enough to choose to live with me. "No way," was my daughter's retort. "You drink too much." Although I've been sober since February 2nd, 1984, still my oldest child is as independent-minded as ever. Just like her father.
And that's the way it works for me.
