また今週もミーティングに参加出来たことを感謝します。特に今週の司会のマークに感謝します。

について、ほんの少しだけ私の話もさせてください。以前いた私の
ホームグループAAの中で自分が所属し、活動の拠点となるグループ
では、伝統を重んじていて、地元では「お堅い」グループとしてちょっとした評判さえありました……というのも、私たちは伝統を守ることに関してかなり厳格だったからです(^^; 必ずしもそれが褒め言葉として言われていたのかはわかりませんが、私は少し誇りに思っていました。

Thanks for being here.. and special thanks to Mark for leading us in discussion this week.
Just slipping in my very little bit on Traditions here. My original home group emphasized the importance of them and even got a bit of a local reputation as the "kosher" group.. because we were sticklers on adherence (^^. I'm not sure it was always meant as a compliment, but I took some pride in it.
The Traditions seemed mysterious to me at first. Then I picked up a pamphlet from the literature rack - The 12 Traditions, Illustrated. It simplified them for me. Could be that I'm more of a comic book type (^^. Here's a link in case anyone missed this little gem...*

I try to live my life and give witness to my faith in much the same way. In fact, using the checklist previously mentioned* reads to me much the same as the "examination of conscience" that I use in preparation for sacramental reconciliation. But, in keeping with the 10th Tradition, I'll leave this one here (^^.
