を扱うミーティングに参加したことがありますが、とても役に立ちました。グループの良心に感謝です。私たち一人ひとりの意見は大切ですが、最終的に重要なのはグループ全体の意見です。そしてそれは、グループ全体の福利のためなのです。
何か問題が起きて、どう対処すればよいかわからないときには、いつでもグループオフィスやメインオフィス（※1）に相談することができます。私は、あるメンバーがいつもグループをかき乱していた状況を経験したことがあります。そのため、もしそうしたことが続くのであれば、その人はグループに歓迎されなくなる、ということを伝える手紙を書かなければなりませんでした。とはいえ、私たちは彼女に配慮しようともしました。（ミーティングでの祈りを）「主の祈り」から「平安の祈り」へ変更したのです。ただし、それについてはグループで投票を行いました。

ホームグループAAの中で自分が所属し、活動の拠点となるグループ
では、だいたい3か月ごとに、どの書籍を読むかを投票で決めています。また私は、議事録を取る役割 (書記) を毎回引き受けたり、進んでやったりしていた時期もありました。でも、ほかの人たちも同じく前に出られるようにするために、自分から名乗り出るのをやめなければなりませんでした。
だからこそ、

には存在する理由があり、それは私たちにとても役立つものなのです。

Thanks Mark for getting us started this week. I've been to meetings where we did a tradition at the end of each month, and it was very helpful. Thank God for group conscience. All of our opinions matter, but it is the group's opinion that counts. And it is for the good of the group.
If any questions arise and we don't know how to handle them, we can always call the group office or the main office. I've been in a situation where someone always disrupted the group, and we had to form a letter to let her know that if this continued happening, she would not be welcome in the group. But then again, we did try to accommodate her by changing from the Lord's Prayer to the Serenity Prayer. But we voted on it.
In my home group, we vote on what book we are going to read every three months or so. I've also had situations where I was always the one who contributed or offered to do the minutes and stuff like that. And I had to stop volunteering so others would step up.
So the traditions are here for a purpose, and they can serve us well.
