から学んだのは、恵みは私たちが（自分の力で）得られるものではなく、神からの贈り物だということです。
私は、神の恵みによってAAにたどり着いたのだと信じています。そうでなければ、とっくにどん底に落ちて命を落としていたはずです。神が私を救ってくれたのです。それは私が何かをしたからではなく、すべて神がしてくださったことでした。
私はよく夫にこう言います。「神の恵みがなければ、ああなっていたのは私かもしれない」と。何か悪いことを耳にしたときや、AAの仲間がスリップしたとき、あるいは街角でお金を求めている人を見たときに、そう思うのです。それは本当に、簡単に自分の身にも起こり得たことでした。苦しんでいる人がたくさんいる中で、なぜ自分が、この

Hi all,
My name is Suanne and I am an alcoholic. Thanks Jeff for your lead this week and the topic of Grace. And again, congratulations on your special milestone! I know from the Big Book that grace isn’t anything we can earn. It is a gift from God.
I believe that I got to AA through God’s grace. Otherwise, I’d already hit a very low bottom and would have died, except that God saved me. It wasn’t anything that I did, but everything He did.
I frequently say to my husband: But by the grace of God go I, when we hear of something bad happening, or an AA friend who relapsed, or someone on a street corner begging for money. It could have very easily been me. I don’t know why I was chosen to take to this program like a duck to water when there are so many out there struggling. I just quit questioning the whys and took what was given to me to use for God’s will.
I have a great life today that I would not have if it wasn’t for God and AA. So I owe everything to God, AA, and you folks who put up with me and share your ESH with me.
