皆さん、おはようございます。リン・Cです。神の恵みと仲間の皆さんの助けによって、1985年5月20日以来ソーバーでいられています。この個人的な奇跡に、言葉では言い尽くせないほど感謝しています。私も若い頃はかなりやらかしていたタイプですよ。キッツァ、44年おめでとう。そしてこれからも先頭に立って導いてくださいね。
ここ数年で生活のペースが大きく落ちたため、私の希望の持ち方も改める必要が出てきました。一生自立していられるといういくつかの望みを手放し、代わりに差し伸べられる助けを受け入れたり、もう自分ではできなくなったことをお金を払ってやってもらったりするようになりました。
私はただ、自分の経験に基づいて、神が守ってくださると信じて信仰を実践しているだけです。そして、とりわけ困難な状況を乗り越えるには、信仰と信頼を何度か “追加して” 持ち直す必要があることもあります。
これまでのところ、希望は――感謝と同じように――とてもうまく機能しています。それ以上に素晴らしいのは奉仕をすること（
サービスAAの奉仕活動
）であり、新しい仲間たちが私と同じような成果を体験していくのを目にすることです。

Good morning all. Lin C here, sober by God’s grace and with your help since 5/20/85, and grateful beyond words for that personal miracle. Another young knucklehead here. Congrats on your 44 years, Kitza, and keep leading the way.
As my life has slowed dramatically in the last few years, I have had to adjust my hopes as well. Giving up some of my hopes for lifetime independence has given way to accepting the help that is offered and spending my dwindling coins to pay for things I can’t do anymore.
I just apply faith based on my experience that God will cover me. And sometimes it takes a couple of doses of faith and trust to get through particularly difficult situations.
So far, hope—like gratitude—has been working really well. The only thing better has been service and watching newer folks experience the results that I have had.
