仲間の皆さんこんにちは。
スアンです。回復途上のアルコホーリクでいられることに感謝しています。カール、今週のミーティングをリードしてくれてありがとう。
カエルのたとえ話は以前にも聞いたことがありますが、本当に納得できます。AAの私の仲間は、「FROG（カエル）」という言葉を使って、“Fully Rely on God（神に全面的に頼る）” ことを思い出させてくれます。
祈りは、私が決断を下す助けになります。神の意志を求めているときは、自分が取り仕切ろうとしているときよりも、ずっと良い結果になります。祈りはすぐに答えが与えられるとは限らない、ということを思い出す必要があるときもあります。待つこともまた行動の一つです（先延ばしとは違います！）。そして最近誰かに話したのですが、神の意志を求めているときには、後になって迷うことはありません。なぜなら、神の意志は常に正しいからです。祈りに加えて、
スポンサーAAプログラムなどを指導してくれる先輩役のメンバー
や他のAAメンバーに助言を求めます。また、書き出すことも役に立つ場合があります。書いているうちに、決断の答えが見えてくることがあるのです。

Hi everyone,
My name is Suanne and I'm grateful to be a recovering alcoholic. Thank you, Carl, for leading our meeting this week.
I've heard that analogy about the frogs before, and it sure makes sense to me. I have an AA buddy that uses the saying "Frog" to remind us to Fully Rely on God.
Prayer helps me to make decisions. When I'm seeking God's will, the outcome is much better than when I'm in charge. Sometimes I have to remember that prayer doesn't get answered immediately. Waiting is an action word too. (Procrastinating is not!). And as I recently shared with someone, that when I'm seeking God's will, I don't have second thoughts because God's will is always right. Besides prayer, I seek counsel from my sponsor or another AA member, Journaling works sometimes as sometimes decisions come to light in what I'm writing.
