私もまた、不完全さをすべて含めた「今の自分が自分」です。理想というものは存在しません。欠点は山ほどあります（妻に聞いてみてください。きっと教えてくれます）。でも、その欠点は昔ほどひどくはありません。それが完成ではなく成長ということです。私はその成長に満足しています。妻も同じです。大体はね。――そして、それが私にとってのやり方なのですよ。

I, too, am what I am with all my imperfections. The ideal does not exist. I have plenty of flaws, (Ask my wife; she'll tell you), but the blemishes are not as bad as they used to be, which is progress, not perfection. I'm satisfied with progress. So, too, is my wife. Most of the time. And that's the way it works for me.
