Thank you, George for chairing this week.
My name is Louise, recovered alcoholic, and my sobriety date is June 30, 1972. I have not participated in ESH for many months but feel the need to do so this week. I have missed my sobriety family. Because of ESH I have known George for more than 25 years (he was a brand-new grandfather then and is now a great-grandfather!). So many other memorable A.A.s who have inspired me and have been instrumental in my recovery and in my "wonderful/awful mix of life...thank you'all.
This online A.A. meeting was a novelty then and I am grateful that it is still going on with a lot of old-timers and strong sobriety.
Without prayer and meditation in my life I could never have lasted this long...but here I am: sober, safe, sane, and strong in spirit (well, mostly...some days are better than others). Again, thank you ESH, George, and all members of this amazing group!
