私はまだ学び、成長していることをよく理解しています。 多くの仲間と同じように、私もミーティングに通い、シラフになって、世界中の問題を解決するつもりでした。
他のAAグループ（そう、私たちの中には一つじゃ足りない人もいるんです）で、現在回復中であることや、すでに回復したことについて話していました。アルコールがもたらすダメージから回復することは、一朝一夕でできることではありません。本当にそれは旅のようなものなのです！
私はこのまま回復への道を進み続けます。秘密がないって、本当に清々しいですね。昨日、夫に食べかけのアイスクリームを隠していたのですが、思わず自分自身を笑ってしまいました。色々なことを思い出してしまって！
人生は素晴らしい。AAは素晴らしい。回復していること、そして回復を維持していることは、素晴らしい！

I totally understand how I'm still learning and growing! Like many, I figured I'd go to meetings, get sober, and cure the rest of the world.
In another AA group (yeah, some of us need more than one), we were talking about Recovery and Recovered. Getting over the damage alcohol can do is not a one-stop thing. It really is a Journey!
I'm going to keep on going. It's so refreshing to have no secrets. Yesterday, I was hiding a half-eaten pint of ice cream from my husband and had to laugh at myself. It brought back too many memories!
Life is good. AA is wonderful. Being and staying in recovery is spectacular!
