の多くの仲間たちがAAの歴史にとても詳しく、それをここで分かち合ってくれることに感謝しています。「AAのレガシー（遺産）とそれが自分にとって何を意味するか」という問いへの答えとして ―― そもそもAAが始まったこと自体が信じがたい奇跡のようであり、そこから発展して何百万もの命を救う “命の救命ボート” となったことには、ただただ圧倒されます。私はこのボートの中に席を持てて、本当に幸運です。そして、私は毎日、ボートに乗り続けるために提案されているやり方を実践しています。数えきれないほど多くの仲間たちが、どうすればこのボートに居続けられるかを示してくれました。だから私たちは、彼らがしてきたことを、日々そのまま実践しているのです。今日はこのへんで。ありがとう、マーク。みなさん、お元気で。平穏に…。

Good morning. Pam, a grateful alcoholic. Congratulation sobriety celebrants and welcome newcomers to ESH. Thank you, Mark…for being here for quite sometime and for leading our meeting this week. I am thankful so many members in ESH are so knowledgeable of AA history and share it here. To answer the charge…AA’s legacy and what it means to you. It’s mind boggling that A.A. ever happened in the first place and that it evolved into a life boat saving millions of lives. I’m indeed fortunate to have a seat in the boat. Every day I follow the recommended procedure to stay in the boat with other people who have been rescued. Countless of others have shown us how to stay in the boat, so we do what they did day after day. Enough for now. Thank you, Mark. Stay well everyone. Peace…
