2026/3/30 不勉強ですみません、実はリザードを聴くのはこれが初めてです。セルフプロデュースによる2ndアルバム。1stをプロデュースした J.J.Burnel の影響を感じます。1980年頃の The Stranglers といえば、Meninblack の頃で、僕はあのアルバムが大好きです。 モモヨさんがインタビューで、「兵器のようなジャケットデザインにしたかった」と語っていた記憶があります。自叙伝『蜥蜴の迷宮』だったかな。 Sorry for my lack of knowledge—this is actually my first time listening to LIZARD. It’s their self-produced second album, and I can definitely hear the influence of Jean-Jacques Burnel, who produced their first. When I think of The Stranglers around 1980, it’s the Meninblack era, and I absolutely love that album. I seem to recall Momoyo saying in an interview that he wanted the cover design to look like a weapon. I think that was in his autobiography Labyrinth of the Lizard (if I remember correctly). |
