、本当におめでとう！ダンのことも覚えています。彼もまた、私がつらい時期を乗り越えるのを助けてくれました。そのことに感謝していますし、このグループの多くの仲間の皆さんにも同じように感謝しています。
私もステップ11に頼っています。最近、私の人生ではさまざまな出来事が続きましたが、そんな時こそ「手放して神に委ねる（Let go and let God）」ことを実践してきました。そして現在では、惨めな気持ちでいたくないので、それらの出来事を受け入れることを学びました。だから私は、その出来事を神に委ねるのです。
今週、私は気づかされたことがあります。それは今週のテーマにもぴったりのことなのですが、私は祈ってはいるものの、神に助けを求めることを忘れてしまっているということです。平安の祈りを唱えてはいますが、それだけではなく、その日一日を無事に過ごせるよう、神に助けを求めることが私には必要なのです。
また、朝も、日中も、そして夜も、「ありがとう」と感謝を伝えることが必要です。そして、主導権を握っているのは私ではなく、神なのだということを忘れずにいたいと思います。
ステップ11のおかげで、私は神との意識的な触れ合い（意識的なつながり）を深めることができました。その結果、以前のように、人や場所や出来事に振り回されて反応してしまうことが少なくなりました。

Congratulations, Pam, on forty-four years! I remember Dan, and he also helped me get through hard times, for which I am grateful, as so many of you have.
I've been relying on Step Eleven, too. To let go and let God, which we took a minute with the last string of events in my life. But I've learned to accept them because I don't want to be miserable today. So I give it to God.
What bothered me this week, which is appropriate for the topic, is that I pray but I forget to ask for help. Even though I say the Serenity Prayer, I need to actually ask God for help to get me through the day.
I also need to say thank you in the morning, throughout the day, and at night, and recognize that God is in charge, not me.
Because of Step Eleven, my conscious contact has improved, and I don't react to people, places, and things like I used to.
Like it says, praying only for the knowledge of His will and the power to carry that out in my daily affairs.
