に新しく来られた仲間の皆さん、ようこそ。そして、今週
ソブラエティ神様・ハイヤーパワーとつながり、お酒を飲まない生活
の記念日を迎える皆さん、特に明日がバースデーのロバート、おめでとう。そして今週の司会とトピック（テーマ）、分かち合いをありがとう。
私はときどき物事を考えすぎてしまいます。今回も、「work（取り組む）」という言葉に引っかかるまでは、このテーマ（Work with others - 仲間と共に）について特に問題なく考えることができていました。
「How do you work with others（他の人とどのように関わるのか）」という言い方は、一般には「それをどうやって行うのか」という意味で受け取られます。しかしここでの work という言葉には、アルコホーリクとの間につながりが生まれるかどうか、また、その関わりがどんな結果に至るのか —— 結果がどうであれ、そこに身を委ねていく、という含みがあります。そして多くの場合、その関係性は前向きなものとなります。

スポンサーAAプログラムなどを指導してくれる先輩役のメンバー
をしていた頃は、ミーティングの後にコーヒーを飲みながら話をする機会が多くありました。特に、第3章についての話し合いが中心でした。私の電話番号は24時間いつでも使えるようにしていて、「飲む前に電話して」と伝えていました。大切なのは「今日」に集中することです……
ミーティングに初めて来た女性や、AAにつながって間もない女性がいると、終了後にこちらから自己紹介をして、彼女に渡されている電話番号リストの中に私の名前が載っていることを伝えます。
対面のミーティングに出席することは、「他の人と関わる」ことのほんの一部分に過ぎません。私は、腰を据えて人の話に耳を傾け、その瞬間にしっかりと居合わせることを楽しんでいます。
ここで分かち合う機会を与えてくれて、ありがとう。

Welcome to people newly coming to ESH, and happy birthday to sobriety celebrants—namely, Robert as of tomorrow. Congratulations. Thank you for leading us this week with the topic and your share.
Sometimes I overthink things, and I was doing fine mulling over the topic until I focused on the word “work.”
“How do you work with others” is generally meant to mean… how do you do it? Then there is the connotation of the “work” as the connection—or not—with the alcoholic, leaning into results, whatever they may be. Most of the time there was a positive connection.
When I was actively sponsoring, there were many coffee dates after meetings and discussions, particularly of Chapter 3. My phone number was available 24 hours—call me before you drink. Focus on today…
When women are new or relatively new at a meeting, I introduce myself to them afterward and mention my name on the phone list that has been given to her.
Attending face-to-face meetings is a small portion of working with others, and I do enjoy sitting and listening to others’ stories—to be present in the moment.
