の今週のミーティングへようこそ。

ミーティングの構成は、司会者がその週のトピックを選び、グループの誰もがそのトピックについて分かち合ったり、あるいはトピックの代わりに、その月に対応するステップや伝統についてシェアすることができます。例えば、11月にはステップ11や伝統11についてシェアすることができます。より多くの仲間の参加を促すことを目的として、最近このように変更しました。

はメールを用いたグループであるため、シェアする人は、他の形式のミーティングで見られるような笑顔やうなずく姿が見えません。私たちの中には、メールで返事を送ることでその共感や賛同を伝える人もいます。しかし、グループ全体への投稿を最小限に抑えるために、個人的なメッセージはグループを通さず、直接その人に送るようお願いしています。

のミーティングは日曜日の未明早朝以降（米国東部標準時）に始まり、次の土曜日の午後11時59分まで、メンバーは分かち合いを行うことが出来ます。全メンバーは、ご自身のAA記念日である・デートに分かち合いを行うことが推奨されています。AA以前の生活がどうだったか。何が起こって、現在はどうなっているかを、グループの仲間に教えてください。

皆さんこんにちは。

アルコホーリクのベスです。今週のミーティングの司会をさせてくれて、ありがとうございます。今週のトピックとして、第の一部について考えていました。「霊的覚醒（霊的な目覚め）」についてです。他の仲間の霊的目覚めについても知りたいと思いました。に書かれているような素晴らしい瞬間を体験したことがありますか？それとも、ほんの一瞬の鮮明な理解の瞬間だったでしょうか？

私の場合、最初にソーバーになったときの、本当に本当に最初のミーティングで、霊的な目覚めを体験したのだと思います。その瞬間に自分に何が起こったのかは理解できませんでしたが、確かに何かが起きたのです。それを理解できるようになったのは、13年以上も後のことでした。今でも、時々そのミーティングのことを思い出します。それまでの人生で、会ったこともない見ず知らずの人たちから、あれほど歓迎され、愛されていると感じたことは一度もありませんでした。ハグもたくさんありました。毎日のようにバーに通い、同じ感覚を求めて探し回っていましたが、そこでそういった感覚を得たことは一度もありませんでした。一度たりともです。残念ながら、そのミーティングのあと、私はソーバーを続けることはできませんでした。けれども、その体験は確かに私の心の中に「種」を蒔いてくれました。その後何年もの間、あの求めていた感覚を探し続け、やがて私は、自分が神と呼ぶことにしたに助けを求めました。すると、その助けは数週間のうちにやってきたのです。最初のミーティングで感じたあの感覚は、治療に足を踏み入れたときに、再び訪れました。私はアルコホーリクス・アノニマスのに、心から感謝しています。

その後も、私は何度かの霊的目覚めを経験しました。それはどちらかというと、私にとって必要だった「ああ、そうか」と腑に落ちる瞬間でした。霊的な目覚めに正しい形があるのかどうかは分かりませんが、私にとってそれは、すべてがと調和し、自分が「今この瞬間に、自分にできる正しいこと (the next right thing)」を行っているときに起こるものだと信じています。それからもう一つ伝えたいのは、つらい時期になると、神様は必ず私の前にハクトウワシを送ってくれる (※) ということです。本当に、何の前触れもなく。そしてその瞬間、私は心が安らぎます。その贈り物に、心から感謝しています。

************************ WELCOME TO THE ESH WEEKLY MEETING

The structure of an ESH meeting is that the chairperson selects a topic for the week and anyone in the group has the option to share on that topic or as an alternative, a member may share on the step or tradition correlating to the month of the year. For example, in November you may share on Step 11 or Tradition 11. This is a recent change we hope will encourage more participation.

Since ESH is an email-based group, a person who shares does not see the smile or nodding head that he/she does in other meeting formats. Some of us provide that validation through an email response. In order to keep the postings to a minimum for the entire group, we do request that personal messages be sent directly to that person and not via the Group.

The ESH meeting will begin no earlier than Sunday morning anytime after midnight EST and members are requested to post their shares no later than the following Saturday night at 11:59 PM EST. All members are encouraged to share their A.A. anniversary on their annual sobriety date. Tell the group what your life was like before AA, what happened, and what it's like today.

Hello All,

My name is Beth and I am an alcoholic. Thank you for allowing me to chair the meeting this week. I was thinking about part of the 12th step for a topic this week. Spiritual Awakening. I was wondering about others spiritual awakenings . If you had a great moment like some descriptions in the BB. Or just a moment of clarity?.

For me when I first got sober my very very 1st meeting I believe I had a spiritual awakening. Although I did not understand what had happened to me at that moment something did happen. It was not until 13 plus years later I would understand it. I think about that meeting from time to time. I had never in my life felt welcomed and loved from strangers I never met in my life. Hugs were abundant! That was never a feeling I received when I went to the bar daily looking and searching for that exact same feeling. Never. Unfortunately I was unable to remain sober from that meeting, It did however plant a seed inside my heart. I spent time searching for that wanted feeling for a number of years and I found it again when I asked my higher power whom I chose to call God for help .That help came in a few weeks time. The feeling I had at that very 1st meeting happened when I stepped in to treatment. I am so grateful for the program of Alcoholics Anonymous.

I've had other spiritual awakenings, more of the "ah ha" moment that I needed. I don't know if there is a right way to have a spiritual awakening, for me I believe that it's when everything is all lined up with my higher power and I am doing the next right thing. I would also like to mention that God always sends me a Bald Eagle when things have been tough for me. Out of no where. And at that moment I am at peace. I am extremely grateful for that gift.
