またこうして皆さんと一緒に過ごせるのは素晴らしいことですね。マイク、今週のリードと重要なテーマをありがとうございます。
この39年間で、AAには変化があったことに気づいています。"あらゆるもの" は時間とともに変化するものだとわかっており、私はその多くの変化を受け入れられます。変化に対して常に賛同しているわけではありませんが、ほとんどの場合、これらのことは私のコントロールが及ぶ範囲の外です。
私の責任とは何か？
思い浮かぶひとつの例（他にもありますが）で、必ず私が口を開かずにはいられないものがあります。それは、私の対面の
ホームグループAAの中で自分が所属し、活動の拠点となるグループ
の何人かのメンバーからよく聞かれる『ただ飲まないでミーティングに行くだけでいい』というお決まりのフレーズです。
それを聞くと、私は
プログラム12ステッププログラム、回復のため原理、AAの基本プログラム。
に取り組んできた自分の経験からシェアする責任を感じます。もし単にミーティング会場に座っていて、その間に飲まなければ『たぶん』ドライ（飲んでいない状態）でいられるかもしれません。でも、その場合、私はかなり空っぽになってしまうでしょう。
スポンサーAAプログラムなどを指導してくれる先輩役のメンバー
と一緒にステップに取り組み、何度も振り返ることで、私が思い描いた以上の人生に導かれました。それは、成長や探求、発見、そして真の意味と目的を与えてくれました。

Hi ESH friends,
It's awesome to be with you another day. Thanks, Mike, for your lead this week and an important topic.
I've noticed changes in AA these past 39 years. I know that "everything" changes with time and I can accept a lot. Not always approving of the changes, but for the most part these things are outside of my hula-hoop.
Where's my responsibility?
One example does come to mind (among others) that invariably causes me to speak up. It's the often heard refrain of "just don't drink and go to meetings" from several members of my face to face home group.
When I hear it, I feel a responsibility to share from my experience in working the program, if I had simply sat in the meetings, not drinking between them that *maybe* I'd be dry.. but I'd also be pretty empty.
Working with my sponsor through the Steps and revisiting them frequently has led to a life beyond my dreams. It's given me opportunities for growth, exploration, discovery and real meaning and purpose. Service work is also key in my program. Once I realized the possibilities in sobriety, just staying dry wasn't enough.
