おはようございます。アルコホーリクのキッツァです。今日もアトカ島（アラスカ州アリューシャン列島）でソーバーでいられることをうれしく思います。私は何よりもセレニティ・プレイヤー（平安の祈り）をよく使っています。混乱の瞬間を乗り越える唯一の方法が、その祈りであることもよくあります。私はいまだに、自分が物事をコントロールできると思い込む瞬間があります。驚きですね。そんな空回りを止める唯一の方法も、やはりセレニティ・プレイヤーを使うことです。「あの人さえ私の言うとおりにしてくれたら、人生はどんなに簡単だろう」と思う瞬間も、いまだにあります。家族からとても離れた場所にいることで、ただ「ここにいる」時間を持つことができました。そして私は、いまだにあまりにも多くをコントロールしようとしている自分に気づくことができました。だからこそ私は、セレニティ・プレイヤーの最初の一文に立ち返り、再び神にゆだねる必要があるのです。なぜ神が私を、こんな何もない場所の真ん中まで導いて、この結論に至らせたのか、私にはわかりません。ただひとつ言えるのは、私の神はとてもユーモアのセンスにあふれている、ということです。すてきな週末をお過ごしください。キッツァ

Good morning Kitza an alcoholic and happy to be sober for another day on the Island of Atka. I think I use the serenity prayer more than anything else. Some times it is the only way I get through moments of turmoil. I still have moments when I think I am in charge, what a surprise, and the only way I can stop that merry go round is to use the Serenity Prayer. I still have moments when I believe that if only so and so would do what I suggest life would be so easy. Being in a place where I am so far removed from family I have had time to just be. This has been good for me to realize that I still try to control way too much. So I need to go back to that first sentence of the Serenity Prayer and let God take over again. Why God had to guide out to the middle of now where to come to that conclusion I have no idea except that my God has a great sense of humor. Have a wonderful weekend. Kitza
