今朝のリード、本当にありがとうございました、スーザン。そして心からあたたかなAAバースデーのお祝いをお送りします！ここ最近、お祝いが続いていて嬉しいかぎりです。
霊的な停滞は、私にとって危険な状態です。だからといって、この何十年を飛躍的に成長し続けてきたわけではありません。多くの場合は、ただ正しい方向にとどまっていることだけが自分にできる精一杯だと感じるのです。
でも私は、AAの仲間たちが自分の霊的な旅路について分かち合ってくれるのが本当に大好きです。それは私にとって一番好きな話題です。これまでの年月で、たくさんの叡智のかけらや貴重な情報源に出会ってきました。
人生に圧倒されそうに感じるとき――そんなことはそう頻繁にはありませんが、今がまさにその時の一つです――私は過去に平安をもたらしてくれたやり方を思い出し、それに頼ります。時にはただ形だけをなぞるだけのこともありますが、それでも私は神にこの状況をお任せできると信じ続けています。
神はいつも、私の人生に「ふさわしい」人たちを、ちょうど良いタイミングで送り込み、私が聞くべきメッセージを伝えてくれます――あるいはようやくそのメッセージを聞く耳を持てるようにしてくれます。今週の分かち合いでも、こうした例がさらにたくさん出てくると、私は確信しています。

Good morning, ESH family.
Thanks so much for your lead this morning, Susan... and wishing you a warm, hearty Happy AAnnivesary! We've had a good run of celebrations lately.
Spiritual stagnation is a dangerous place for me. It doesn't mean I've spent decades growing by leaps and bounds. Often simply staying on the beam is all I feel capable of.
But I do love when my AA brothers and sisters share about their spiritual journeys. It's my favorite subject. I've found pearls of wisdom and some great resources over the years.
When life starts feeling overwhelming - doesn't happen too often, but currently is one of those times... I draw on the practices I know have brought me peace in the past... and sometimes I just go through the motions. Even when I'm doing that.. I still trust that God has this, whatever it is.
He's always put the "right" people in my life and just the right time, with a message I need to hear - or finally have ears to hear it. I'm quite certain the discussion this week will bring more examples of this.
