Hello…Pam, a grateful alcoholic. Congratulations Suanne on your birthday and for leading us this week. Welcome newcomers to ESH. Suanne, also thank you for leading us this week with musings on Step 6…ready to have God remove all defects of character. Sounds simple enough, though with most of this “house cleaning” it’s never simple. For example, my tardiness in responding to this week’s topic is a result of my procrastination character defect. I do believe my HP provides situations to show it would be a good idea to become willing to have a defect removed. Life goes along fairly smoothly until there’s a glitch…time to take notice. I sometimes speak out loud to my HP, “Okay, I’m listening.” We have many slogans and for “progress, not perfection,” I am grateful. Good night. Stay well. Peace…
