こんにちは、みなさん。酔っぱらいのジョージです。またスアンヌにしてやられましたよ、信じられますか？ええ、ただ「空いてる日がありますよ」と言われただけで、またうっかりその気になってしまったんです。
というわけで、ここにいます。ありがとう、ミス・テキサス。
最近、チャック・Cの『A New Pair of Glasses (新しい眼鏡 - AAメンバーのスピーカー録音を元にした書籍）』を再読し終えたところです。何度読んだか数えきれませんが、本当に何度も読んでいます。
チャックはたびたび「愛」について語りますが、そのたびに私は少し胃がムカムカします。というのも、その言葉は私にとって非常に大きな意味を持ち、深く心を揺さぶるからです。
昔の恋人や妻、家族を除いて、私は他の誰かに「愛している」と言ったことはないと思います。
チャック・Cはほとんどすべてのアル中に向かってそう（愛していると）言います。
過去の恋人たちに「愛している」と言ったときは、彼女たちも同じ言葉を返してくれると期待していました。ですが、期待通りにならなかった時、私はすぐに愛情を失ってしまいました。
チャック・Cがその言葉を言うのは、本気でそう思っているからで、すべての人に対して言っているのです。なぜなら、私たちはみな、父なる神の子どもだからです。

WELCOME TO THE ESH WEEKLY MEETING
The structure of an ESH meeting is that the chairperson selects a topic for the week and anyone in the group has the option to share on that topic. In order to keep the postings to a minimum for the entire group, we suggest that personal messages be sent directly to that person and not via the Group.
Comments should be closely related to recovery from alcoholism. "The ESH meeting will begin no earlier than Sunday morning anytime after midnight EST and members are requested to post their shares no later than the following Saturday night at 11:59 PM EST."
All members are encouraged to share their A.A. anniversary on their annual sobriety date. Tell the group what your life was like before AA, what happened, and what it's like today.

Hi, everyone. George, a drunk. Would you believe Suanne got me again? Well, she did, simply by announcing there were "openings on the following dates."
So, here I am. Thank you, Ms. Texas.
I recently finished re-reading Chuck C's "A New Pair of Glasses." I can't count the number of times I've read the book, but they are many.
Chuck mentions love often, and each time I get a little queasy in the gut because the word means much to me and affects me deeply.
Other than old girlfriends, my wife and family members, I don't think I used the words, "I love you" to another person.
Chuck C. says it to almost every drunk.
When I said I love you to past girlfriends, I fully expected them to repeat the same back to me. When that didn't happen, I soon fell out of love.
When Chuck C. says it, he means it, mainly for all people because we're, Children of Dad. (God).
So, for this week's ESH topic, "What does the phrase 'I love you' mean to you, personally? Do you love all AA members as does Chuck?
And that's the way it works for me. Looking forward to your answers.
