私は、
ビッグブックビッグブック・AAの基本テキスト（書籍）
とそこに書かれている提案をテーマにして行うAAのミーティングが大好きです。それはおそらく、現在ではいともたやすく心理学的な難解な話や自己啓発的な話に逸れてしまい、実際に私たちのAAのメッセージを必要としている人にとっての妨げになってしまっていることを知っているからでしょう。短いシェアではありますが、個人的な経験に基づけばこのテーマについては際限なく話せてしまいます…必要なのは、先ゆく仲間たちから教わったことを思い出すことだけです。ミーティングでは「与えることなしには、続けられない」と何度も言われてきましたが、私はそれを強く信じています。もし与えることが出来ないのだとすれば、それは与えるべきものを持っていないからなのです…そしてそのようなことは、どこのミーティング会場でも頻繁に起こっています。
もちろんこれは私の経験にすぎません、あなたの経験とは違うかもしれません。

Welcome to anyone who is new or relatively new to AA or to ESH...I hope you find here what I and many others have found, a way of living which works. Congratulations to any and all celebrating an AA milestone!
Thanks Robert for your topic of: "Practical experience shows that nothing will so much insure immunity from drinking as intensive work with other alcoholics...".
I love AA meetings where we use the Basic Text and directions inside there as our topic...probably because I know today how easy it is for someone to veer into psychobabble and self-help talk which is at the very least distracting to someone who actually needs our AA message. Just a short share as I could go on ad nauseam about this topic based on personal experience... all I need to do is remember what I have been taught by some who came before me. I have heard it said many times in meetings that "You can't keep it unless you give it away", but I firmly believe that if you don't give it away it's because you don't have anything to give...and there's plenty of that going on in the rooms everywhere.
Of course this has just been my experience...yours may be different.
