ある晩、（テキサス州）オースティンでスピーカーミーティングに参加したときに聞いた「私の回復は、私自身の責任だ」という言葉を覚えています。
スポンサーAAプログラムなどを指導してくれる先輩役のメンバー
のせいにしたり、出来事や病気がどんな言い訳をしても、それを言い訳にすることはできません。だから都合が悪い時には、自分に言い聞かせなければならないんです ── これまでの
サービスAAの奉仕活動
活動がどれほど自分を助けてくれたか、祈りがどれほど効果的だったか、ステップの力、
スポンサーAAプログラムなどを指導してくれる先輩役のメンバー
に助言を求めること（もし彼女がつかまらなければ、他の誰かに電話すること）、12番目のステップの実践......。神様はすべてを簡単にしてくれるわけではないけれど、
サービスAAの奉仕活動
の機会は必ず与えてくださいます。そしてそれが、私の好きな「感情の
ソブラエティ神様・ハイヤーパワーとつながり、お酒を飲まない生活
」をもたらしてくれるのです。
私はシンプルな
プログラム12ステッププログラム、回復のため原理、AAの基本プログラム。
があることにとても感謝しています。簡単ではないけれどシンプルです。短くてすみませんが、これから一番上の孫の高校の卒業式のために（テキサス州）ラボックへ向かいます（片道6時間の運転です）。簡単ではありませんが、必ず行きますよ。(^^

Hi all,
My name is Suanne and I am an alcoholic, grateful to be in recovery today. Thanks, Lin, for your service to our group and for the topic this week.
I remember going to a speaker meeting in Austin one evening and the last thing I heard was "my recovery is MY responsibility." No blaming your sponsor or events or whatever excuse our disease may come up with. So when things are inconvenient, I have to tell myself how service work has helped me in the past, how prayer works, the steps, using my sponsor (and if she isn't available, call someone else), the 12 step calls .... God doesn't make everything convenient but He does give us opportunities to serve Him. And it gives me the emotional sobriety that I like.
I am so grateful we have a simple program, not easy but simple. I'm sorry this is so short but we are off to Lubbock for our oldest grandchild's high school graduation (6 hours drive one way). It's not convenient but you can be sure I'll be there. (^^
